The Sakaya Bic store opened 24 years ago. The original company began making Japanese Sake as the Kyoi liquor shop in 1854.
Now, the company name is Fujikei Kyoi Co., Ltd. and operates specialized liquor shops of the Sakaya Bic chain in Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka and Shiga prefectures. Furthermore, we plan to have more stores in various regions in future.
Our Sakaya Bic stores are a community-friendly business, as we try to offer quality products, good values and a feeling of safety, and value in communications with customers. What this means is that we want to be loved and appreciated by customers as a sincere retailer and we are determined to make those kinds of efforts on into the future.
Liquor is a culture and makes life enjoyable, provided you drink a proper amount in a reasonable amount of time. We, at Sakaya Bic, strive to promote this culture, develop products contributing to a healthy life, strengthen the lineup of our original brand products, and offer safe products of good values on into the future.

Our founder, Isuke Ito, started making Japanese Sake.
The second owner, Ototaro Ito took over making Japanese Sake.
The third owner, Keiichi Ito took over making Japanese Sake.
Fujikei Kyoi Co., Ltd. was established.
A liquor wholesale distribution license was obtained.
A specialized liquor shop “Scotch & Wine Kyoi” was opened in a mall.
The first “Sakaya Bic” store -- a large scale and unique liquor retail store of our own -- was opened.
The fourth owner, Shigeo Ito became the President & CEO. Since then, “Sakaya Bic” company stores and franchise stores have been opened one after another.
The first “Sake-no-Kyoya Isuke” – a Select Sake Shop – was opened.
97 shops are in business in Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka and Shiga prefectures. |
